Many locals will remember the business first opened doorsone bright day in 1972. Founder Peter Ennals quickly gained a reputation forhis knowledge, customer service and expertise across all types of caravans.
New co-owner Peter Don, who comes with a wealth of knowledgeand experience as the owner of the successful Donway Caravans, Shepparton, is excited about the chance to take Cobram Caravans to new highs.

He was driving past the store one auspicious August day lastyear when he spotted a For Sale sign out the front.
He popped in and met his counterpart. The two got on like ahouse on fire.
“After I made enquiries about it, he [Peter] said, ‘Peter, Iwant you to have it because I know you’re a good businessman, and I’d like you to purchase it,” Peter Don later recalled.
For want of avoiding cliché, the rest is history.
So what can customers - new and returning - expect?
In short, they can expect the same standard of excellence and service. But with even more choice in on and off-road caravans, Peter Don said Cobram Caravans will be bigger and better.
Peter, Keelan and Kevin will also bring back on-site service and repair, and install a new front fence.
